Others encouraged me to do it it cold turkey and I am really glad I did. But I guess I would ask other moms as well and get their take on it. I am sure you will know what will work best for Brynne!kellyHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02171309204329616736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976610240077706158.post-67777760763609062422010-05-03T09:35:08.248-04:002010-05-03T09:35:08.248-04:00Cute story! I heard from my pediatrician to try to break it by 12 months and have been thinking about maybe trying to start working on it at nap times and then after that bed time. We'll have to see....I only have two months to go!juliechallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07723363486772009560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976610240077706158.post-16330264209748890352010-05-02T08:26:59.375-04:002010-05-02T08:26:59.375-04:00This is encouraging, as we have a paci lover ourse...This is encouraging, as we have a paci lover ourselves! But like Graham, he only uses it till he's really sleepy and then pops it out. Hope we can have a similar success in a few months!taralynn819https://www.blogger.com/profile/03048501104136348806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976610240077706158.post-37023684938272501052010-05-01T23:06:40.580-04:002010-05-01T23:06:40.580-04:00So glad it went so easily. But I resisted giving the twins pacis and now they are finger/thumb suckers and that is going to be so much harder to break. The Lestershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10892396877354043038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976610240077706158.post-78151977693809146922010-05-01T23:00:43.699-04:002010-05-01T23:00:43.699-04:00I am sure it will be ok, Kristen! We were also going to make her give it up at 12 months, but look at her 18 months and she still has it:( She only uses it for naps and night time, but she also has gotten more attached to it since 12 months...so we are probably in it for the long haul once we take it from her. She is such a great sleeper so I am hoping that it just takes a couple of days and that she keeps up her good sleeping habits.Tim, Kristen , Megan, Emily, and Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11545931135597561386noreply@blogger.com
