Some ways God has encouraged us....
1. Andrew's very good friend gave him a new ipod nano! He was thrilled!
2. God has given us several months with absolutely no car repairs! For us, that's a big deal!
3. Our church is continuing to grow and continues to be such a source of encouragement to us.
4. Andrew was able to get his week of vacation after the semester is over! We are planning a trip to NYC for a few days and can't believe the way God is orchestrating events in this trip...
> get to attend an urban church planting conference while there with Mark Driscoll, CJ Mahaney, Tim Keller, & Ed Stetzger.
>several of our good friends from church are attending as well.
> grandma is buying us tickets to see a show on broadway!
Some ways to pray for us...
1. That God would keep Andrew in good health and continue to give him strength for all the projects, reading, and papers that he has to complete. Also, time to prepare for his teaching at church.
2. Our cars started making some funny noises this last week, pray that repairs would be minimal.
3. That we would priortize well in juggling school, our jobs, church, and our own time spent together.
Blessed be Your name in the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your Name
And blessed be Your name when I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

That looks like a really sweet conference! I'm going to tell Tim about it! I'm so glad for your blessings. :)
So good to hear how God has been providing for you lately - we'll be praying for you guys as you finish the semester. And I am certainly delighted that a certain piano student of yours has decided to take a little break. I think I actually did do a dance for joy when I had my last lesson with her. :-) I can laugh about it now but it wasn't funny DURING the lessons. Take care!
what wonderful blessings in the midst of the stresses of life in seminary. that is how we feel OVERLY BLESSED and OVERLY STRETCHED, but it is wonderful!
i will pray for you guys and your cars and all that.
i am so glad you have a blog!
We just returned home this morning from a conference in Seattle with the same speakers. Russell and I LOVED it!! We are thinking about going to this one as well. My brothers live outside the city, so we thought we might visit them and go to the conference. We'll see...
We'll be praying for you both as you finish this semester.
