St. Patty's Day fun

You would think we would have more 'kelly green' in this house.....but this was the best we found!
I do believe we were the least green-dressed people at the parade, but E for effort. :)
Downtown for the St. Patty's parade
In the parking ramp, our reflection across the road
patiently waiting..............

Andrew split to head to see some NCAA games, so I couldn't have done it without Kristin!
snack time

there were a lot of bagpipes. a lot.
a 20 minute break in the parade...kids getting restless.....
Finally, Mr. Joe Biden literally comes running down the road among about 50 Secret Service.
LOTS of interesting characters out. :)
We left watching the parade after about an hour & a half. We hung out downtown, got some lunch and the kids ran in the park. The weather was so perfect!
When we left downtown after about 3.5 hours, the parade was still going on!
Apparently people really are into their St. Patty's Day.

Let's take a nice sibling picture.
Or not. :)
(we'll take the above sweet hand-holding shot!)

Valentine's Day then ~ Valentine's Day now

Just 2 carefree, fresh-faced kids.
Valentine's Day ~ 9 years ago
wow, this makes us look old now. =)

Tonight's Valentine's dinner was spent listening to a certain toddler complain about how much he disliked eating by candlelight.
Yes, we heard you the first 6 times you mentioned it. :o
-
But good news: date night is tomorrow night!
-
We did have some sweet moments today.....and by sweet I mean that Graham had eaten all 3 of his little heart box of chocolates by 10 am.
{but this was a pretty sweet moment too. xoxo.}
 {and containing the wild ones while mommy cooked dinner}
 pretty in pink.................
I found a card that said,
I love how these moments turn into our memories.
So true.
Love you, babe.

the sibs: all dolled up

Free coupon for Sears pics............so why not!
But how do you choose just one?!

 might be my fave............... =)
(of course we had to have a lip bash days before!)

4pm has always been the best picture-taking time for us.
Post-naps, post snacks.....they're ready to go. :)
Graham has always done pretty well when taking pics......but this time he was purposefully hammin' it up!

 princess-doll

anything possible turns into a drum!

and how about a little shout-out to Snuggleluv where I found the snazzy headband, tie, & fedora. =)

oh these kiddos...........

I have a heard quite a few parents say that their kids get used to sleeping through sibling noises.
But apparently my kids missed that memo.
I am so thankful they don't share a room cuz' we would have some serious troubles!
As it is, they often wake each other up in the morning or after naptime.
If one is up, I guess they think they should both me up.
Trying to teach Graham that it is not okay to climb into her crib.
You can see how effective that's been so far. =)

But you can tell by her big smile that Eden is pretty happy about her little guest. :)
