So in uploading a new header photo, this was the message I received.... We're sorry, but you have exceeded your photo upload quota. For more information, check out this Blogger help page.

Has this happened to anyone else and what do I do now?!

oh NO! That hasn't happened to me yet--I do use flickr for all of my photos and just copy and paste the link--I wonder if that helps?

I just wanted to let you know that we are going to look at a house tonight--and it has a large backyard and two car garage ( you know--for all of our rainy days;-) It is in an older, established neighborhood with tons of beautiful trees. We are praying that the inside will fit our needs--it has 3 bedrooms, 1700 sq.ft. . . .anywho, pray if you think of it!

I can still upload pics into a post, it just won't let me do a header. :-/ agh!

I tried flickr and it said invalid link....maybe I did it wrong!

Kelly,
I haven't had this happen (yet), but I remember reading about it happening to Annie's sister-in-law...so I searched back her blog and found her post on it to send to you:

help please
Why can't I upload any pics to blogger???? I keep getting a message that says I've used all of my 1 GB quota of space for photos. WHAT? Has anyone else come across this? What do I do?

Yep, it's true! Blogger allows you only so much space for "free" and then charges for exceeding that space. I can't believe it. I just purchased 20 GB of space for $5 for a year. I think that will be enough for me for the year since it's taken me 4 years to only use 1 GB!

Hope this helps!

hee hee... it's funny reading about myself here! :) Yes, Kelly, that was me and it was an easy problem to solve. I just followed blogger's prompts and paid (using my credit card online) the $5 charge. I suppose I'll have to do it again at some point in the future. At first I was so annoyed that they were making me PAY, but I got over it. It's nice to have a "free" blog.
